Call For Speakers and Panelists
The Zambia Tech-xpo is an annual technology event that brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts from different parts of Zambia to discuss and showcase cutting-edge technologies disrupting industries across the country. The event provides a platform for participants to share their knowledge, ideas, and experiences, with the aim of promoting innovation, collaboration, and growth in the technology sector.
The conference event will take place on 8th November 2023 from 08:00-16:30hrs, followed by a 2-day exhibition from the 9th-10th November 2023 at at MICC Lusaka, Zambia from 09:0hrs - 16:30hrs , and will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and exhibitions.
The theme of this year's event is “The Disruption Dialogues; A Zambian Tech Space Overview” and will focus on emerging technologies that can potentially transform various sectors of the Zambian economy.
To achieve this objective, we are calling for speakers who have expertise in the following areas:
- General Disruptive Technologies in Zambia: This track will focus on emerging technologies that are transforming different sectors of the Zambian economy. Speakers in this track will discuss topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Robotics, and Augmented Reality, among others.
- Startup Entrepreneurship: This track will feature speakers who have experience in starting and running successful startups. Speakers will share their experiences, challenges, and successes in building and growing their businesses in Zambia's dynamic and rapidly changing startup ecosystem.
- Infrastructure: This track will focus on the role of technology in improving infrastructure development in Zambia. Speakers in this track will discuss topics such as smart cities, transportation, energy, and water management.
- Health Tech: This track will explore how technology is transforming the healthcare industry in Zambia. Speakers will discuss topics such as telemedicine, digital health records, medical devices, and healthcare data analytics.
- Mobile Tech: This track will focus on the impact of mobile technology on various sectors of the Zambian economy. Speakers in this track will discuss topics such as mobile banking, mobile payments, mobile applications, and mobile marketing.
- E-commerce: This track will explore how e-commerce is changing the way Zambians do business. Speakers in this track will discuss topics such as online marketplaces, payment gateways, logistics, and customer experience.
- Agritech: This track will focus on the role of technology in improving agriculture in Zambia. Speakers in this track will discuss topics such as precision agriculture, farm management systems, and agro-processing.
- Edutech: This track will explore how technology is transforming education in Zambia. Speakers will discuss topics such as e-learning, virtual classrooms, educational games, and digital content creation.
- Fintech: This track will focus on the role of technology in transforming the financial sector in Zambia. Speakers will discuss topics such as mobile banking, online payments, digital currencies, and financial inclusion.
If you are a technology expert, entrepreneur, or innovator with knowledge and experience in any of the above focus areas, we invite you to submit a proposal to speak at the Zambia Tech-xpo. We welcome proposals for keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions.
